Info Days for Master’s Degrees
The M.Sc. in Quantum Computing and Quantum Technologies will be presented in “Info Days for Master’s Degrees” organized by ITT NCSR Demokritos, on Wednesday 30 June at 11.00 a.m.

Prof Ioannis Karafyllidis, Director of the Master’s programme, Professor at the Democritus University of Thrace and Dr Panagiotis Dimitrakis, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (INN), NCSR Demokritos will present the postgraduate programme that aims to take students to the cutting-edge of applications and research in the area of quantum computing and quantum technologies. Quantum computers and quantum technologies are at the core of the second quantum revolution, which is expected to have a significant impact on all sciences, in the industry as well as in health and everyday life.
IBM Quantum
The postgraduate students will use IBM’s quantum computers for coursework via the cloud available through the “IBM Quantum Educators Program”. Students may access IBM Quantum systems for their dissertation research via the “IBM Quantum Researchers Program”. Graduates of the programme may pursue a career in the public or private sector or continue their studies towards a PhD degree.
